Timeslot Adjustments: Day/time shifts are subject to a fee, given availability
Leave No Trace: Client is responsible to return the space as found. Any issues with the facility the Guest finds must be documented in writing via message booking@cinespaces.com
Permits: Client is responsible for determining whether their production requires a permit to film.
Booked Hours: Begins when the first person parks in our parking lot and ends when the last person leaves our parking lot. Client must include prep/strike time in their booked hours.
Overtime: If available and at CineSpaces discretion, is to be billed at $125.00 (first and second hours) and $166.66 (thereafter), billed in 60 minute increments. Crew/talent/guests, and equipment must be out of the studio and parking gates by the end of your booked hours to avoid overtime charges. Charges will be deducted from your security deposit.
Prohibited Items: Feathers, glitter, confetti, sand, wedding rice, flour, paint, aerosol spray cans, fireworks, weapons, small particle items that are difficult to clean, non-water based fog machines, non-water based fake blood, weapons, fire of any kind (candles etc) and other items deemed unacceptable by the managers (when in doubt, please ask). An additional extensive clean up fee starting at $500 will be charged for violations to restore the studio and for downtime. Drilling holes into the walls, ceiling and doors is prohibited (no screws, hooks or anchors); only 3M command strips (double-sided tape) is allowed on the walls and must be fully removed. Damage fees apply.
Drugs and Alcohol: Possession or consumption in public spaces or outside is prohibited. Your production will be shut down with no refund.
Rental Equipment: We do not offer gear, please bring your own.
Lost or Stolen Gear - we assume no responsibility for items left behind.
Uniforms & Prop Guns: Cast dressed in police uniforms, or any other official uniform, may not exit the facility while wearing their costume for safety. Prop guns must be accompanied by a licensed professional and handler.
Animals: All animals/pets are prohibited with the exception of service animals with valid permits. We highly advise against bringing pets. If you do, the owner assumes all responsibility and legal liability. Must be in carrier at all times.
Fire Sprinkler System: Please DO NOT hang or tape or cover the fire pipes or sprinklers. The pipes are constantly pressurized and thus may leak if the pipes are damaged. Full restoration damage charges and/or a minimum fine of $700 per occurrence will be charged for failure to comply. LAFD fines will be charged to the renter.
Set Lighting: Our photos were taken by a professional cinematographer. Client is responsible for lighting the set
Security Cameras: Please do not touch, cover or unplug the security cameras. Footage is strictly confidential and recorded 24/7.
Damages: Accidents happen, just let us know please. Renter is responsible for leaving the space in the same condition as prior to commencement. A walk-through inspection will be conducted before and after all bookings and the renter or assigned representative must be present. Reasonable damage charges will be deducted from your security deposit.
Cleaning Fee: Client is responsible for cleaning facility and returning it to the condition in which it was given. We do not provide trash bags, paper products, etc.
Minors: We require all children to be accompanied by an adult, guardian or studio teacher at all times
Stunts: Stunts must receive prior permission in writing by a member of our staff.
Props: Props come free of charge but cannot be guaranteed to be present or working on the day of production. If your production hinges on a particular prop, please rent it independently.
Guests: Accurate Guest Count must be used when booking the space. CineSpaces reserves the right to cancel a booking without refund if Guest Count is not accurate.
Stage Managers: Stage Managers are there to familiarize you with the facility, answer related questions, and to ensure safety guidelines are being adhered to. Stage Managers have no authority to modify our existing agreements, including, but not limited to, waiving fees. All modification requests must be made M-F, 9AM-4PM for consideration. Your production may not include a Stage Manager. If so, each question submitted during the booking will be charged at $100/each.
Access: Guests may film in the set(s) they rent, but nowhere else in the facility.
Security Deposit: Security Deposit must be paid within 24 hours of your booking, via Zelle only. Security Deposit will be refunded in full within 2 business days if Client does not violate any of the Host Rules. Security Deposit will be forfeited in full if Client breaches any of the terms outlined in our Host Rules.
